Ammonium Adipate is also named diammonium adipate and produced by complete neutralisation of adipid acid with high purity ammonium hydroxide.It occurs as white colorless crystals.And it easily gets lumped so that it should be kept in dry and airtight container.

Instead of boric acid ammonium, ammonium adipate is widely used for formulating working liquid of aluminum electrolytic capacitor in electronic industry.As a good electrolyte,it has been used in electrolytic capacitor industry also.
